Not the best in the Final Fantasy series, but for any RPG fan this is surely a trip you will want to embark on.

From the moment you put Final Fantasy 13 into your xbox, the first thing that will most likely take your breathe away is the graphics. As in any other Final Fantasy game, they truly set the bar for graphical design and great cinematics. Probably the one thing that i took special note to was the voice acting. The voices actually matched the characters personalities which seems to be very rare in most rpg games. The story is not the best, however there will be moments that touch your emotions and you might even shed a tear.

Now the battle system is where this game gets very fun. Going back to traditional turn based gameplay, FF13 really takes a step forward. Each character has a class (Commandos, medics, etc) that have specific abilities. This is great because it keeps the characters attack stats organized and each character is strong in their own specific class. There are no random battles, so if you don't want to fight just avoid the enemy.

The upgrading system is similar to FF 10. Exp is gained by winning battles but the differences is that all exp is shared even if a character didn't participate in battle. This may seem frustrating to some but trust me fully leveling up takes some time. Another key note is if you lose a battle you can just restart it rather then going back to a save point ( saves ALOT of Frustration)

Overall final fantasy is a game worth playing. The gameplay is solid and the story will keep you busy for hours to come.

Good: Solid gameplay, great sound acting, memorable characters, hours of gameplay content (worth the money)

Bad: Game is quite linear until chapter 11, battles are very easy,
