Final Fight is one of the best fighting and action games that I have ever played. I played it as an arcade game, a SNES game, and in the Capcom xbox collection. It set the standard for fighting games to come and it outshines similar games such as Double Dragon and Pit Fighter. In Final Fight the character has a lot of moves to choose from compared to other games of its day. You can wield or throw weapons. The boss fights are fun, and I still enjoy taking down the hundreds of minions that are in the game. There are several types of enemies who use different weapons or moves. On the other hand, the game does suffer when compared to today's games in many categories. The moves are limited and the fights can be repetitive when compared to recent games. However, Final Fight has never been surpassed as a scrolling fighting game and the review is based on a comparison with similar games from that time period. If you have never had a chance to play Final Fight, pick of the Capcom Collection and enjoy a video game classic.
