Don't get me wrong, it a great game, But is being over hyped when its compared to other 3DS games.

Don't get me wrong, it a great game with its ability to provide just enough character building for most of the 30 plus characters that you will encounter throughout the game and that the game play itself is fun and interesting. However, I do have some issues with this game. For starters the villains, their character build up starts and ends with "I want to do evil things because..... just because I am evil", and that they mediocre, and FORGETTABLE! My secound issue I have with the game is its over glorification of its predictable story and its in ability to draw me. After playing for about 10 hours and listening to the story of the game and seeing the events that unfolded, I kept asking myself "where is this great story that I keep hearing about it was easy to predict what will happen because I'v seen a lot of these clé-sha story arks before", "why should I care about that under developed characters death when they were just briefly introduced to me a few mintes ago". And my final miner gripe about the game is: "the developers have the time to record grunts and groans for dialog but not fully voice act it"!. Now do I still think this is a really good 3DS game? yes, in fact I would sugest anyone who's buying a 3DS for the first time to get this game.
I think this game does deserve a score of around an 8-8.5 because of these miner problems, however, these problems don't get in the way too much of a great game.
P.S.: I still think TALES OF THE ABYSS IS BETTER then this game when it comes to story, villains, and story telling, but still has the hole non-voiced acted dialog skits. but that a whole other review for another day
