Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurigi (Sealed Sword) is a strategy game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is intended to play on the Gameboy Advance. It is the sixth installment in the Fire Emblem series.

Fire Emblem: Fuuin no Tsurigi is a turn-based strategy game in which you command your own arsenal of units, each with a unique personality and backstory, to defeat the opposing enemy side. Objectives consist in routing the enemy, seizing the throne, etcetera. How it plays is rather simple, as you use a cursor to move your units around the battlefield.

What makes this game different from any other turn based series is that every unit is different, and since this game uses a Random Number Generator, each unit's stats will raise differently every time you play. Aside from that, your units still retain their personality even after they've joined the group, and can talk to specific units by supporting them, which consists in being near them for a certain amount of turns.

In addition, when one of your units die, they're gone for good, so you need to be careful in your decisive actions on the field.

In this game, young prince Roy of Pherae, the protagonist of the game, is set off on a journey to stop King Zephiel from taking over the land that is Elibe. The story starts off simple, but as it progresses, it gets farther deeper and more intriguing.

The game's graphics are neatly done. Each playable unit has a portrait of their own and it is portrayed in a detailed manner. It is not any different in-game, either. Each unit on the battlefield is represented by an icon depending on their class. For instance, Alan, the SocialKnight, is represented with a mounted man with a lance. So it is easy to find out what is what.

Combat has it's own animation as well, which is pulled off rather well, each with superb critical animations, too.

The music in this game is memorable and fits to the events' moods whatsoever. There's sound effects for almost anything; doors opening, footsteps, axes swinging, etc.

Play time should last you quite awhile, as it's sheer difficulty will keep you wanting back for more.

This is a wonderful portable strategy game. If you're looking for a game that can test your ways as a tactician, then give this game a try. You will not be disappointed.
