Fire emblem games are turn based strategy games set in a medievil fantasy world. This is the first released on gamecube, and the third western fire emblem.

Though on paper, the concept of fire emblem dosen't sound very interesting, Yet somehow, fire emblem always manages to be addictive and fun.

What is special about fire emblem, is it pays a lot of attention to story and character developement. Units can converse with each other, and over the course of the game, you will get to know the characters, and even have some favourites.

This game can be a bit frustrating at time, and if a character dies he/she is gone for good. That means you will be restarting chapters a lot. which can be a bit annoying.

The story in this game will captivate you, and the characters are well drawn and all have their own unique personality. If you like a good story, you will like this game.
