It is far from a bad game, but Fire Emblem 7 is far better, as is The Sacred Stones. It dissapointed me.

Sure, they brought skills back and made a new playable race, and they also took out the annoying arena's in exchange for bonus exp, but I think that FE 7 is way better than this game still. The Sacred Stones was too easy but still fun. This game started good, but the fighting gets repetitive halfway in and the end let me down. Not only because it was stupid but because I like getting all the supports in these games, and their was no support theater! Also, you don't find out what happens to all the characters in the game, like you do in the others. Your supports don't actually change what happens to the characters! I liked knowing who got together with who and who became a famous knight and whatnot. I liked how they put in different avatars when some of the characters changed classes, though. That always bugged me in the other games, like a knight turns into a general with huge armour and yet they still have there wimpy little unarmoured icon. May I also add that Sothe sucks. So does Ilyana. And from what I can tell, they are the protagonists of the next game. WTF!!!!!!?????!?!? The two worst characters get a leading role? Sothe couldn't even promote in this one! Ilyana, I personally thought, was worse than Bastian (Crazy silver-tounged floozie). At least Sothe is a new kind of leading character, instead of the stereotypical just hero that always sticks up for innocence and is brave and caring and gives food to starving children and animals with broken legs and has to avenge his father and then get a beutiful lady as his wife becasue he saved the world from an evil god or dragon or something like that. Piss me off Fire Emblem! Still, graphics are good, storys good and sound is excellent. To bad there was so little replayability, at least for me. Good nite!
