This is definetly one of the best GC games, It has a gameplay similar to Tactics Ogre or Final Fantasy Tactics, but you engage in battles every time you attack someone like Advance Wars kinda mini-battles.

It has amazing graphics and sound effects, the style is amazing.

It has an amazing soundtrack, multiple difficulty settings, and 30+ hours of gameplay.
You take the control of Ike, a young unnexperienced hero, that will eventually rise up and engage against gargantuan enemies, it has a lot of onscreen text, but the key moments are highlighted by beatiful cinematic cutscenes.

It is chapter based, it means that every chapter has it's battle that you must clear in order to move on.

Fire Emblem takes place in a fantasy world, but there are no convenient resurrection spells here... death is a frightening reality.
