Definately worth checking out!

User Rating: 8.8 | Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki GC
With this Fire Emblem being the first to grace US consoles, one can only hope that it is worth the wait and the $50 we have to shell out. This game does not easily disappoint. While far from perfect, the cons of this game are very miniscule.

With graphics that are beautiful, nice lush environments, it's hard to just sit back and look at the game for a few minutes the first time you pop it in your GameCube.

Every time you think the gameplay gets a bit repetitive, they throw something new into the mix, be it from a new character, a new race of characters, or just a new gameplay feature, such as the skills system that is implemented.

The game is of moderate difficulty. The battles are long and engaging. It comes complete with a menagerie of tutorials that give you the answer to just about every question you may have. None of which are mandatory, so if you have played a game in the series before, you can easily skip it.

As in terms of plot, this has nothing you haven’t seen it before, especially in terms of a Fire Emblem. There is an evil empire; all evil empires want to conquer more land, this land just so happens to be where your group of people is located. You guys run to avoid them, meeting a few groups of them scattered here & there. Then after some tragic event, you and your party realize that it’s time to rise up and kick some ass.

If you’re a fan of any combination of strategy and turn based RPG’s and have the patience for a game like this. This is something you should definitely check out. It may not be as great as Final Fantasy Tactics, but it is still a great game.
