This game succeeds at creating a decent fire emblem game for the console but a huge flaw came in the graphics department

Fire emblem Path of Radiance is a great game to play, but yes even though I gave it an eight, it's not as great as I expected it to be. It's easy to learn but once you've learned it, the challenge is finishing it. The even bigger challenge is finishing it while having acquired every character. The even bigger challenge than that is finishing it while having acquired every character in the hardest difficulty! In the gameplay department this game lives up to the GBA versions although...this CONSOLE version provides...sadly enough even less classes than the GBA version. In the GBA version you are given a choice between two classes to choose from in this one, you don't have a choice between two classes. Sure it may look like there are a lot of classes in this game but that is only because of all of the knights. There are axe knights, lance knights and sword knights. Instead of having those (all three of them evolve into a paladin by the way which sux) just keep the cavalier from the GBA version which can use swords and lances, there are enough characters that carry axes in the game, or atleast if you don't do that, another idea would be to leave the axe knight in and take out the sword and lance knights and just have cavaliers which could use both lances and swords. They only made the different knights to make it look like they had many classes to choose from. The actual game itself though is great. It takes right after the GBA series and adds a little more to the console version. Unfortunately the graphics in this one were pitiful. The critical hits from the units were not at all one bit flashy, the only decent one came from Oscar, otherwise you would just be like...whoopdeedoo.... For example, the mages in their critical hits move their hands around making themselves look like idiots! They should have some like lightning or something flowing through their hands, all you see is them moving their empty hands through the air. Overall this game is really fun to play, but had it been on playstation, I think that this game would definitely have had some flashy stuff. And I mean Final Fantasy flashy.
