If you like the GBA series then you will love this one...

Ok first thing first. If you like or even love the Fire Emblem Series then yes not only is this one a must buy but if you are new to the series and thought that "Hey maybe I should play this", I'm telling you now, don't expect this game to go by fast. I beat my file in 30+ hours and haven’t even tried the extra's yet. Oh yeah, that was on easy. But back to the review. This game is pretty good. First off, you have swords, lances, and axes. Each weapon is weak against another and strong against another. Swords best Axes, Axes best Lances, and Lances best Sword. Think of it in terms of rock, paper, scissors. There are also magic spells, which follow the same attribute. New to this game that hasn’t been found in previous series games is the new types of characters/enemies. These new beings are called the Laguz, which consist of 3 tribes. The Beast, Bird, and Dragon. Along your journey you will have to fight these monsters that refer to humans as Beorc's. There are many types of weapons and over 20 chapters. Also new to the series is the Cinematic cut scenes, they look beautiful but it's a little hard to understand what they are saying. If you have played the series before then you already know this but if not then listen up. When your character is defeated in battle, (meaning their HP is dropped to 0), then they are gone for the rest of the game. So I recommend saving often, and every time before you do a chapter. That way if your favorite character dies or your just trying to be a perfectionist, you can restart and try again. Overall if you like role-playing elements mixed with strategic thinking and have a lot of time of your hands, then yeah this game is for you.
