Personally, best game that I've gotten addicted to.

I first watched the final boss die and the ending movie about a half year ago, and I am still playing the same game on the same file. Just to summarize the basic aspects of this game, you start off as a princess of a dying kingdom, fleeing away as her home is invaded by a once close ally. You fight your way to Frelia, aquiring some new allies along the way, and then fight towards the fortress of the Grado empire. A few levels after entering Grado, you meet up with the princess's brother, and go back to Frelia. You then choose your path.
In your choice, you can continue with the princess to Jehana, which is the easier choice, or you can join the prince in his invasion of Grado. No matter what path you choose, you get all of the characters, assuming you get all of the ones in your selected path. I have only ever beaten the prince's path once, and I barely did it without losing units.
I guess I should have mentioned this, when a unit dies, they die for good. They don't get too injured and may come back in a few hours of playing, no, they are dead. You get attached to some characters and some you may just hate, so you'll try whatever you can to stop Ross from dying in a level where he is still weak (not for long, *here's a quick tip, berserker Ross is beast!).
After you beat one of the paths, you meet up with the end of the other path, and then retake Renais castle. You the go to Rausten, and then you go to the final three areas, all on one icon on the map. You eventually defeat Formutulious (something like that, ... it starts with an F) and you win!
Some tips for stuck people, just keep trying, there is always a way to survive without a unit dying, I know, I've been there.
Tips for future possessors of the game, 1 get the game. 2 love Ross, Amelia, and Ewan. Train them up to Berserker, General/Great Knight(whichever you prefer), and Druid(only Knoll should be wasted on Summoner, if anyone should, and there are too many light/anima magic-ers).

Well, that's about it, hope you enjoy(ed) the game!
