This game is so underrated! Graphics and sounds are so good for a 1992 game... SOUNDTRACK IS THE BEST!!
Had sooo much fun playing it with my sister! (ohh the memories). This was the FIRST video game I ever played at home (it came with my SNES) so I have a special place in my heart for Firepower 2000. In my opinion, one of the best war games ever! If you have it, then you are a very lucky bastard!
Game was hard to beat, the advancing screen really put things into overdrive, had enemies firing at you from EVERY direction, up, sideways, down.
The best thing is to play it with a partner, because the helicopter (2nd player) can move so much faster than the tank (1st player) so it can clear the path for the tank if the need arises. Of course there are levels where the helicoter is in a disadvantage (like the 3rd level), but the good thing is that one has plenty of arsenal to protect the 2nd player.
And there's unlimited bullets so FIRE AWAY.
