online rushed!

Ok ... Well I haven't played the first Flat-out, but this game was just okay for me. The Career mode was ok and the stunts were just plain fun (minus the darts... I personally think the driver should have stuck into the dart board, and also gotten points even if you didnt hit the desired target) but the audio was fantastic although they could have used a little more songs that dont get old as quick! Those are the good things about the game.

Maybe its just me but I feel the Online portion of the game was rushed a little bit. For starters, there was no talking during game. I don't know about you but sometimes I like a little smack talk in the game, I find it adds that hidden level of competition thats in all of us. Another online feature they omitted was an invite feature, it really sucked waiting for a derby when there is only two people in the room, it needs an invite capability so waiting for games wouldn't take as long. This really isn't a big deal but there was no friendslist, sometimes you just wanna jump online and have a game with someone you have already met.

All in all though pretty good game, but I don't think that they really took a good look at their online content enough (and I'm sad to say this isn't the only game like that) which is too bad really. Because for me at least, as someone who buys games 50% for the single player experience and 50% for the online aspect. I somehow almost always feel ripped off about 50%
