Destroy, Demolish, Devastate: The 3 D's of This Game

This game really brings out the demolition derby and carnage racing features here on the Xbox 360. The demolition derbys with powerups (damage multipliers, etc.) are as addicting as ever, the carnage races are challenging, but enjoyable, and the stunts are creative. (i.e. knocking down a certain number of bowling pins with the dummy simulating an actual bowling ball.) The only problem with this game is that other than the strong similarities to its predecessor, flatout 2, is that the races can often be a bit frustrating if you don't know what you're doing. When you do a jump, you have to land perfectly or else your car will flip out all over the place. Also, it's best not to get caught up in all the debris and trying to destroy scenery too often or else 1: you'll get slowed down by the debris if you drive too deep into it or 2: you'll fall several feet behind. You do utilize nitrous by gaining from wrecking scenery, for example, which will help if you messed up on a turn and want to later redeem yourself. other than that, the wrecking and demoltion aspects of this game really bring out its true colors and once you overcome the minor frustrations along the way, flatout ultimate carnage will be an enjoyable experience!
