Meh puzzle game that's worth 200Wiipoints not 500 but can't wait to see what can be done with this kind of engine!

Essentially from what I've read Hugo Smits, creator and only member of Goodbye Galaxy Games, was researching voxels ( 3D imaging that's currently used in CAT scans ) and thought they would be the next big thing in gaming. He told his idea to big game companies but they didn't seem to get it. xform, An indie company, finally let him make a Ds game with voxels. Soon after xform went bankrupt and he had to drop out of college to have enough money to finish working on the game.

Now about the game... I personally enjoyed it but it was WAY too short for a 500 point game ( Even kinda a 200 point ). Essentially you play as a boy whose goldfish ( Flipper ) is put somewhere on a square map. You can get three different power-ups throughout levels to try and reach him. The power-ups can either destroy a small area ( including hills and bridges ), restore small areas ( same ), or build a small hill ( on the same ). The game didn't take me more than two hours tops but I still had fun doing it.

What I liked more is the thoughts of what engines like this one using voxels could do. For now my main thought is that a very similar engine could be used to make a wonderful dungeon builder. So buy it if you want an overpriced puzzle game or just want to fund more of Hugo's work.
