Flower is not so much a game as it is an exploration of why games can and should truly be considered works of art. This experience asks us: what does a flower dream of? In a world of concrete and urban-industrial sprawl, the lonely flower stares out the window of a crumby apartment. Escape to a world of lush green fields where the wind flows through the grass and flower petals float on tranquil, music filled skies. A work of pure genius that asks its user to let go and just feel. If this doesn't qualify as a genuine work of digital art, then we need to re-examine our deffinition of "art". Next time congress holds hearings on gaming and the first amendment, I would hope that Flower is on the list of creations that they consider. A peerless and shining example of what's possible when we allow our imaginations to lead us. Thank you TGC and Sony for a fulfilling and unique experience.
