Flower is a game to be experienced.

I used the term "game" loosely as it does have it's challenges. But it's more of a technical demo and motion sense showpiece with an emotional and beautiful 6 part story. It has plenty of secrets for the completionist. But unfortunately there's little replay value after you've achieved 100% on the tropies, aside from showing it to your friends.

The controls are top notch, easy to learn, and difficult to truly master. You can do some pretty visually stunning things with how liquid the game feels and looks. The flower petals you control move around just right. The grass sways with the wind just right. Everything is just right, really.Worth loading up if you appreciate nature, for sure.

You can complete the whole experience in little more than 5-6 hours, assuming you're getting trophies, of which, some can be very frustrating, particularly "Pure". Everything else is based on diligency and exploration.

  Flower transcends the normal bounds of video games to become the poster child for the movement insisting games are art.
