While double-clicking on monsters and watching your avatar fight may be fun at first, the wonder of it doesn't last.
Now, before I get beheaded, keep in mind that I DID play this game for some time. I gave it a chance. If you want me to be exact, I was a level 75 Billposter. I did actually put some time into it before deciding that it was boring. So don't go for my throat for the one comment.
The game has very little of a story. You are on the world of Madrigal that has been invaded by monsters, so you are training as one of the heroes of Madrigal to grow strong and defeat the big baddie: Clockworks, a huge mechanic spider-thing. Other than this, the story is very barely explained. While there are NPC's that make references to the basic storyline, what they are trying to say to you is hard to decipher due to the terrible translation from the original game.
The gameplay really doesn't consist of much. Basically, you double click on a monster, and your character fights it. The hit damage, block chance, evasion chance, etc. are all calculated by your character's stats compared to the monster's stats. While your character fights, you can interrupt it to perform skills, spells, or your Action Slot. The action slot basically allows you to chain certain skills and spells together. That's really all I can say about the gameplay, considering that's all you do. You fight like this over and over again to gain level and earn money. You use the money to buy new equipment, so you can gain more levels. (I think I see a pattern.) Essentially, the game is basically about gaining levels.
While the Player vs Environment is pretty boring, the Player vs Player really doesn't do it any justice. The classes are incredibly unbalanced. One on one battles end in seconds. For most classes, in consists on double clicking the enemy and hoping that you win. Some classes are different, however. For example, if you're a Billposter, it consists on double clicking on the enemy and hoping your stun attack kicks in. For Psykeepers, it consists of rooting your enemy to the floor (leaving him completely harmless unless he, too, is a ranged class), running away, and using ranged spells until the enemy dies. Basically, the PvP takes after the PvE: It's the same thing over and over again.
The graphics are anime-themed, and for a free game, they aren't bad. For some people, they may be a bit cutesy, but if you're an anime fan, or at least don't mind anime, you'll be alright. There are really no major graphical glitches to speak of, and some of the environments are very nice-looking. But it's really nothing ground-breaking. If you're looking for a free game with good graphics, there are better games out there.
The sounds aren't bad either. For each sound that fits well, like the sound of the sword slashing at a monster, theres another sound that is just incredibly awkward, like the sound of a player dying. Most of the sounds seem to be ones that you've heard used in countless other movies or games, such as the sound of the male player dying. The music is not bad. I enjoyed several songs on the soundtrack (My favorite being the Darkon 1 and Darkon 2 overworld music.) However, the constant grinding will make you quickly sick of hearing the same song over and over again. Yes, the gameplay is ruining every aspect of the game. Even the music.

Final words: Yet another generic Korean MMORPG. Nothing to see here, folks.
