You can do a lot worse than Folklore
Once you get into the game you'll go through the intro cinematic which sets the scene of the game and does well to pull you in. It does a good job at introducing the main characters and their backstorys.
The story does suffer from a few weird anomolies and can be slightly confusing especially at the beginning. The gameplay can also be quite repetative and uninspired in places.
Graphics: The graphics of the game are very good, not superb but very pleasing to the eye. The character models in particular are very detailed, although they should have "Made in Japan" stamped on them
Sound: The games enviroments and AI sound great! However, this game has many cutscenes which have no dialogue and that breaks the immersion if you ask me.
Multiplayer: None sadly.
Overall: If you want a relatively relaxing game with an interesting mystery story, a few small quirks and no multiplayer then Folklore isn't a bad choice, it'll most certainly drag you in. Sadly i'm yet to complete the game due to LG taking my plasma for repair, but I may update this review once I finish the ending.
I give this an 8. Good gameplay but a few issues spoil the game a bit.
