For a psp game, this game rocks and is a a worthy addition to your racing collection
For a small psp game, it has more or less everything you'd want from a f1 game - the licenced teams, cars and tracks and a whole host of gameplay mode. Firstly the career mode, which is very tough but haven't played enough of it to give a proper opinion but there is the championship mode where you're able to race a full f1 season with all the events and qualifying sessions etc.
The best part of it, you can customise it to your taste, so for beginners, there are driving aids and help with getting used to the handling and for vetrans, these can be switched off.
Also its possible to tweak many aspects of your car (tyres, downforce, fuel).
Graphically the game is excellent, although toned down alittle from the ps2 version but this does not affect the gameplay in anyway!
Crashes are very good, but also its my main grumble with the game, while crashes are impressive, it does cause the game to briefly pause sometimes, an example would be when hitting a car in front of you, and so you may lose the front wing or even a wheel, the moment of impact and it pauses for a few seconds.
But don't let that be off putting, good gameplay, good graphics and realism, makes this a worthy addition to your psp racing collection.
