Nintendo is a great company and makes great games.dumb_person1
I agree but why do you think that? I mean, Anyone could say that out anything. Like Sony and MicrosoftÂ
Nintendo has great games but not the sound and graphics to make it the best.glitch-x911
It's about the gameplay.Â

...yeah...uh...nevermind...
...kay...whatever... >_>
what I mean is... why? it's just out there and isn't backed up by anythingÂ
Nintendo: The company that resurrected the video game for the home after Atari collapse. They are also a company that has done a lot for the industry as a whole. The touch screen of the DS. The motion controller of the Wii. The first handheld system that captured a large audience with the Gameboy. I mean Nintendo has done a lot for the industry.LDouglasLJr

Thanks for the compliment WhiteFlame. I guess since I've played video games since Christmas of 82 when I got my Atari 2600 and pretty much every console in between then and now, I've seen a lot, play a lot and read a lot about video games over the years. No matter what Nintendo's next console and there will be one, I just hope it follows in the footsteps of the DS/Wii and gives us some thing innovative again and not repeat their mistakes with the GC. Only time will tell if they've learned from their mistakes in the previous generation.

You know, I remember some guy pointed out something very interesting about a year ago...the Nintendo consoles seems to be innovative once every two generations:
NES - Revolutionary
SNES - Evolutionary
N64 - Revolutionary
GCN - Evolutionary
Wii - Revolutionary
Next-gen console - ???
Same thing for the portable consoles:
Gameboy/Gameboy Color - Revolutionary
GBA/SP - Evolutionary
NDS/Lite - Revolutionary
Next-gen portable console: ???

It did scare them but it didn't stop them from being innoviative. I still have my virtual boy somewhere but that hasn't been played in many years now. It was a very different but even though it failed I'm glad Nintendo didn't stop being innoviative.Â

reasons to be thankful...Â
If they weren't innovated then they would be crushed by the competition.Homedawggydog
then the PS3 would't be as high, but Nintendo would die. Well I'd rather have a high priced PS3 than a dead NintendoÂ
Yeah Nintendo was able to bring the market back from the grave and has been able to stay active and plays a very important role in the industry. I really dislike how so many people bash Ninteno for focusing on family style of games instead of the more mature market and how everyone complains how their graphics aren't next gen compared to MS/Sony. Why have so many people forgotten that graphics don't make the game, they only serve to enhance it.LDouglasLJr
Yeah, but most of them are really 12 years old noobs who didnt grow up with the Nintendo systems, so who gives a crap about them ? :?
I agree NWA but the probably is these noobs are the ones going out buying games solely based on the graphics and the companies are the seeing this and taking advantage of it in all reality. That's why we're getting such low quality titles anymore, so in a way I wish these noobs would really get what gaming is all about before the market takes a hit such as the Atari collapse.LDouglasLJr
I believe its the developers fault, not the noobs. They are so focused on making some quick money nowadays...Its kinda ironic because the best way to sell as much as possible is by making good games.
But if they know people will buy the game regardless of anything then they don't have to make it good (example: the Madden series)Homedawggydog
Home, you hit my point dead on there. The developers know that people will buy these games even if they aren't good. The Madden games are a good example, too bad they don't have the 2K series to compete against.Â
