What was the fuzz about? So far the only negative thing I've heard about Awakening is that there will be no continuation of the romance plots. Other then that I am really looking forward to it, in fact I already have it pre ordered.
Okay, how about the first Neverwinter Nights? Or for something that may actually come back, how about Jade Empire?katjajett
i loved jade empire. im starting to lose hope that a sequal will come at all. as for neverwinter nights i never played it but i did play baldurs gate 1 & 2

I had lost hope of a sequel to Jade Empire until a few months ago when I read an article on the new SW game. The guy in the interview mentioned that they were still interested in making another Jade Empire but were too busy with the current load.
I never played Baldurs Gate (sad I know) but one of the first video games I ever played on the PC was NwN. The original NwN and its expansions are awesome and I still love playing them over and over again.
I was just lookin' on imdb and something caught my eye; the voice actor who did the voices of Nihlus and the Turian Councilor in Mass Effect...his name is Alastair Duncan...I wonder if his name influened Bioware to name the characters in Dragon Age...or if it's just a hell of a coincidence...

Until there is some sort of confirmation on whether or not there will be a monthly cost for the MMO, I will not state if I will be purchasing the game, however be assured that if I do it will be on the PC.

I have it. I also played in both the closed and open beta but I have to admit the game isn't that good. The multiplayer is enjoyable for a while but drags down once you get all unlocks. To bad that it's a disappointing end to such an epic franchise.

Yeah definitely in almost every aspect. The soundtrack for CnC4 is awesome and the cut scenes are better but other than that the game is a disappointment. I'll be writing a full review this weekend.

Just started my first play on Awakening. Loving it so far but something quite shocking happened early on which has me wondering... (first 60 minutes of the game)[spoiler] Mhairi died during the joining! 0_o I am guessing this isn't always supposed to happen but neither do I feel I had any influence on it. [/spoiler] Any idea's on how to prevent it?
Just a small notice for the Dragon Age players here. Alienware is giving away a shield DLC for Dragon Age. The promotion is officially only available to Americans but if you visit their lovely site via proxy anyone can obtain a code ;).
I think I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like Dragon Age and I know I'll probably get slated by many people for saying that.
I've played it for about two hours and just can't get into it even though it's very similar in gameplay to the Knights of the Old Republic games, which I thought were great.

Actually I was really pissed off with it at first, but it grew on me. I think I expected it to be a little more like NwN or ME1 and it seemed like they left out some elements that were present in their other games. But like I said I warmed up to it and it one of the three main games I'm playing.
Thanks for the offer but I had another go today and managed to do it... at last.
The mission was the one *spoiler alert* where you have to kill the Japanese Emperor at Mt Fuji. I found this level harder than doing Cod4's Mile High club on Veteran!
I'll probably need help later on though; I heard the Japanese Campaign is the hardest!
