The Poll to decide Tali or Liara or are we all nutz?

With the utterly stupid war brewing over at Bioware on the topic of who is the best I thought I'd start it here too. I vote N/C or no comment.

Tali...

I wasn't a huge Tali fan until ME2...I was planning on Jack being my love interest in my 'main playthrough' but after the interactions with Tali, I changed my mind...

Now, she's my favorite female character...

I really liked Tali in the first game, but in the second she's all whiny

As for Liara, I've always liked her

I vote for Tali; she's awesome, in my opinion. She feels like one of my best friends, especially because she was there from the (relative) beginning. Although I will say that out of all of the characters both in ME1 and ME2, Liara has always had the best facial expressions. Meaning, it feels like her expressions really show off how awesome the facial mechanics BioWare uses very well, in my opinion anyway. Tali's facial expressions... well I'm not going to get into that topic lol :)

Also, what does "around the twist" mean? Or am I seeing that wrong?

I wasn't diggin' the one eye bigger than the other when Liara seemed distressed or trying to explain something, kinda freaky. Of course, unless its an Asari thing. >.<

Tali without a doubt. Liara was too rash for my liking, reminded me too much of a high school teenager.

I'm a Liara fan. After finishing the first game, I was smitten as a kitten.

I liked Tali better until i found out she goes to the toilet in her suit.. so im gunna go with Liara.. But obviously Miranda smokes them both.simo98088

I for can't stand Liara, mainly because of her annoying dreamy type voice. I always do her rescue mission last on ME1.

I am surprised though that no one has mentioned that the Quarians are Communists, which is probably why most of them have Russian type accents.

Tali is like a really good friend and I squealed like a kid when I got her and Garrus back in ME2. Romancing her was a bit awkward but ah what the hell. :P

I actually didn't like Liara in ME1. I felt she was a bit too immature(?),hesitant and a little bit meek at times. But she seems to have really come on her own in ME2 and from Redemption her character development has taken a positive turn for sure IMO. I can't wait to play Lair of the Shadow Broker and see more of her. Maybe...I need to play ME1 once again and save a romance for her. Oh wait...I already did that. :P
