My improvment idea is that gamespot implements a line between a user's post and their sig. The line should be nothing more than this:

"____________________" Because I hate seeing something like this:

Its hard to tell when my post ends and my sig begins.

This is just an example post, don't worry about the text in the post

I dont have text in my sig so its not a problem for me, but i can see how it can get confusing for those that do, especially in the example above. I agree there should be some kind of separator.

I think a line like that is ugly though, and I wouldn't want one in my sig. Having a sig like the one you showed should become a violation of the ToU, because it's certainly more disruptive than some posting offenses.

It certainly is misleading as it's hard to differentiate where the post ends and sig begins. You could always put the text below the sig if your sig wasn't so big. :P

While I manually put one in, not everyone does and depending on the post and all, it is very annoying.

This is one thing GameFaq's does that IMO, is not crap. They put 3 --- to keep the sig out of the post. I think GS should do something like this, but make it so it cant be removed b/c like always there are lame people on GF that remove the --- and it looks like thier sig is part of the post.

I agreewith that (though I don't know about offenses part),nothing personal at you lee7373 but sigs that size shouldn't be allowed and anyone with video repetitive .gif video sigs (they are just too disruptive). Anyway with the line I think that it should only really apply to a sig that is only text if they were to ever do that. If you have an image as a sig than there really is no point to it.

I also manually put a line, not all the way across, but you get the idea. I don't think this is that bad of an idea, and it might be something that's easy for the staff to change for once...:)

Why not make it an option in your profile? That way you choose if you want one there or not.

I just don't want a line above my sig because it isn't necessary. Why should I have one there just because of other people who have disruptive sigs?

I think a line should appear when you enter text, but when you use images their isn't a line.

There's no real point to this (no offense), because if you wanted to, you could put al ine in yourself, like I have. Before your sig, just put a ------------------------- to divide it from the post. Just look at mine!
