Hi gamespot,

I am thinking of getting a HDTV for my xbox 360, so I thought lets see if gamespot have any good tips for me

and you did, you had a 4 page article all about my situation. I started to read.

Then a big CNET advertisement pop-ed up and covered half the text, this is extremely frustrating.

I undersand that this article is quite old and the advertisement is new, but this is no excuse.

Here is the link to the article

I love this web site and have never had any problems like this, please fix soon, thanks.

Cheers-

Usually, when an advertisement blocks a large part of the content, you can close it. Looks for an "X" or a "close" button.

And if it still pisses you off, I'm pretty sure you can prevent them from appearing with a pop-up blocker.
