If you are a GS Basic member, you need to be Level 3 or above before you may begin using BBCode or HTML in your posts, your sigs, etc. If you try and use it, it will automatically stripped from your posts, so beware. If you're wondering why there is this restriction, it is to prevent malicious users from spamming and posting pornography in large doses because they've created several Basic accounts.
