Are comments disabled for news articles?

I've been to several news articles today, and there hasn't been an option to post any comments at all.

Are you sure it's not just Livefyre failing to load? It does that sometimes.

Maybe that's it.

i have the same problem. some articles you can post in & others you cant. same with seeing the comments. even when i click to read the comments section, it does not work. this has been going on for a few years now. i figured they would have fixed this issue by now. also cant see users pictures, including my own & i have a picture set for my account. this has been going on since Gamespot changed their entire layout.

Same here. It seems to be quite random.

@JustPlainLucas: same here, but mainly this is only when I use my iPad, on my laptop they generally let me see the posts...it's quite frustrating.

LiveFyre was experiencing issues so it was sporadically failing to load.

Maybe handle the comments on your own end and not off site. It rather annoying I keep thinking it Firefox or Adblock plus causing the issue but when I test site with IE same problem

Livefyre is failing to load for me as well. Been like this for a few days.

Seems like it still is, not just on news articles, but reviews too. I lost an entire conversation I was in while comments were still up. Can I suggest you just screw LiveFyre for something less flashy and more reliable?

Yeah livefyre is failing to load every time.

Has anyone else noticed this wasn't happening to you before the 9/30 site update?

Same problem here, I have to load the site at least several times before comment section pop-up, and if it does, sometimes when I leave a comment, it just says "pending"... So I dont even know if my comment is readable or not.

If you log out then log back in then the comments should come back. At least it worked for me.

Livefyre is not loading again.

@aretilda: I also have been having a lot of trouble with this. seems after i leave a comment, leave the article, now any article i go to has no comments. come back in a couple of hours, comments are back, discussion has moved beyond me caring any more.

GS you may want to look into this. I may have to get my fake news else where.

Comments are fine... until you sign in, then they disappear, clearly some sort of bug.

The comments not loading is getting worse every day. Its doesn't matter the computer I use or the browser.

log out and log back in. Comments comes back. Its worked for me every time.

Logging out and logging back in is no longer working for me, livefyre is not loading at all now.

Go to your browser settings, delete cookies, then try again. It tried that with me too but after deleting cookies then its ok again. Give it a shot.

I'm having the same problems.

Yeah, sometimes the comments won't load no matter how much I refresh.

The problem's occurence has increased lately. It's VERY annoying. -_-
