@Dannerfjord: We get crawled now and then by less than reputable bots that don't adhere to robots.txt and go hog wild pulling down every last bit of the site and pummeling the database. There's really not a whole lot that can be done about it. The cost of fortifying the backend to deal with this kind of thing is way too high. Its basically a DDoS attack. These guys use botnets or dynamic DNS so we can't just ban a set of ip addresses. I'd really like to meet some of these fuckers in person. Its one of my dreams actually. Just me and them and no witnesses.

I was unable to access this site for the better part of a day, I don't know why. I deleted all of the cached GS data and cookies from my web browser and then I could suddenly connect again.
I had problems with accessing the site and even posting last evening. I was able to make only one post in the 20 minutes that I was here. I left due to not being able to reply to threads. As it is, instead of the hours I would spend on GameSpot, I am spending maybe 1 at the most due to the bugs and lack of features.
