I got a friend who set her blog to private because she doesn't want a certain person to read what she blogs about. I pointed out that her blog titles are showing up in her feed, and now she has to watch how she titles them. Can we find a way to alleviate this privacy flaw?

I definitely support this, someone who tracks you whilst you're not private will still have your blogs come up on their news feed once you make your profile private.

I understand the desire to have this occur and if it's an easy fix, it should definitely be done.

However, the general rule that anyone should follow is that, if you don't want something to become public knowledge, don't post it on the Internet.

It should only be expected that private setting means no public tracking.

True, however, websites should make accommodations to protect your privacy so you don't have to watch what you say.

They do. However, ClayMeow is right. Secrets you don't want made public have a way of coming out. No matter how much privacy a website has. Look at certain celebrities with their photo postings on Facebook.
