I'm using my phone. Every time I click on a game, it takes me to the mobile site m.gamespot.com. This makes accessing things like video reviews and the forums very difficult since there's no way to get these things on the mobile site. This problem has only just started recently. Clicking a game used to take you to the games page and you'd stay on the full site. I'm using an iPhone with the latest firmware if that's of any relevance. Is this a know issue that's being looked at?
Try click on "full site" link down in the bottom when it happens, that should redirect you to the front page again. From there go and do whatever it is you wanted to do. At least that's my work around when it happens.
Does iPhone have a "mobile view" kinda option? An option that basically takes you to the mobile version of the site, if it has one. Turning it off should stop you from being redirected to the mobile version of the site.

I tried clicking full site and going back to the game. That used to fix it. It's not fixing it anymore. It's really annoying me. Mobile sites usually appear when you first go to them. After selecting full site, you usually stay on the full site. I stay on the full Gamespot site as long as I don't go to the page of an individual game. I'd really like some info on this from someone who works on the site. Do they ever answer questions here? I feel like I'm being ignored.
i am having the same problem. Usually lists like searches or nee release pages do this. it is very annoying as the mobile site is aweful and missing content.
Please gamespot just turn off auto detection until you can fix this.
