I find it a little out of sequence that GS posted its game guide to MW2 before posting its review. A review should come first, as reviews are used to help educate us consumers about purchasing the product. The guide should come second, since we can't use it until we actually purchase the game. I also tend to think that a review would be quicker to put together than a game guide.

Thoughts?

Your post makes sense, but we're pretty thorough with our reviews too. The game guide is for single-player only, and multiplayer is a core element to the review of a game like Modern Warfare 2. We're making sure to put the game through it's paces so that when the review goes up, we'll be confident we're giving it a fair and complete score. Plus, we have to produce the video review too.
