Confirm Gamespot Account Email

I've now gotten a number of emails similar to the one below:

If you've changed your mind or something, it's cool, I totally get it, and I'll leave you alone. Just know that I'll never forget that time you first gave me your email address and typed in a password. It seemed like we were meant for each other T_T

Seems kind of sketchy

me too i clicked the linked sent me to their website with 404 error

This has now been brought up with staff members - it may or may not be legitimate, but even if it is, you shouldn't be receiving account verification emails when your account is already verified, which should be the case for all non-new accounts.

I'm also getting this email as well, I'm not sure how they got my other email. I been receiving this email for the past three days as well.
