Dark Website Theme not loading by default

Over the past couple days I have come to GameSpot and it has loaded the Light Theme, even though Dark Theme is selected. This can usually be fixed by refreshing the page, but it is still an annoying bug...

Ditto for me too.

Using Firefox.

I notice that it fixes when I remove my adblock settings and the theme goes to black.shadowchronicle

I had that happened ot me when I entered this site through the homepage, but it disappeared when I went to another area on this site.

EDIT: actually the white background always appears whenever I first go to Gamespot's homepage

Its doing the reverse for me. I have it on White, which I like, and then it changes to black automatically. biggest_loser

I was about to make the same thread, been happening to me for a weekish now? keeps switching from dark to white, I have to keep refreshing to get it to back to dark. Any news on fix soon?

I am as well, and sometimes it refreshes back to black, but sometimes it goes back to that horrid white. I say just get rid of the white all together. :P (Or at least make it less ugly, it just doesn't look good with the other colors and page layout to me). But yeah this is quite irritating.

same problem. i prefer the dark theme and lately it's not sticking when i set it. using firefox 20.

Glad you started a thread on this and sure enough, others are having the issue too. Count me in although I was able to switch it back just now thankfully. Hopefully it lasts but I am getting the impression from other posts here it won't until some bug gets fixed. I'm using Safari on an iMac running OS X 10.8.3.

been like a month, still switches from black to white etc =[

It's been doing the same for me for weeks now, I use white and it keeps changing to black ( many here complain about the white one hurting their eyes but it's the opposite for me, the black on messes my eyes up). The button used to change between themes is actually not fully responsive either, I sometimes have to click it multiple times for it to change.

FIX IT ALREADY! Wth happened, it used to be fine.
