What do the emblems look like?
If you are uncertain what some of the emblems look like, check out fastesttruck's emblem thread.

Game Rating and Collection Emblems are automated emblems:

The game rating Emblems have been known to be buggy. This means that the Outlier, Way Harsh and Push over emblems disappear randomly, this happens almost every day, along with many game emblems. However the rating emblems are NOT coming back the next day, and if they do, they don't stay very long at all.

Also if you think you should have an emblem like the "Hella Old School" or something, wait more than 24 hours before reporting it.

All of the below emblems come and go on their own accord when the site updates. Do NOT report them being missing unless they have been gone for a FULL 72 hours. If you still don't have the emblem when you should or think you should, again wait a FULL 72 hours before reporting it. The reason for this is that often times they go MIA for a day or so, and as users report the same issue, it eats up our time.

Here is the list of emblems that are known to be bugged:

I added the 201st game to my collection on Friday, but haven't received the Game Collector achievement. I added the 200th a few weeks ago, but thought it might be the next one before it gets updated.

Coming to think about it, isn't there an emblem for the Game Night MVP? I remember getting that a month or 2 back.

Sometimes the numbers are not exact or the system doesn't understand. You may want to add a few more and see if it corrects itself.Dracula68

Will do. I'll be adding a couple of games this Friday (Demon's Souls is finally out in Europe!) , but I'll wait a few weeks, and a few more games, before reporting back any progress.

Hmm, I've never gotten that emblem with the A+ on it even though I have about I think near a hundred games rated with a 10, a bunch of others rated 9.5 and nothing below an 8.5.

I have actually tested this and the number of games required is 202.woonsa

Yup, iyou were right, it is 202. Perhaps the "How to Gamespot" guide should be updated just to mention this little fact, and prevent others asking the same question.

Should I wait a little longer? Or is there something wrong with the tagger emblems I am not aware of?

You actually only have 172 tags, You need 200+ unique tags.

You are not meeting the requirements for the emblem. You could try rating more games with a scorce of 10 or change the rating of games you have already rated.

Good afternoon! :) I had the Outlier emblem, but as I was spring cleaning my profile just now I just noticed it had disappeared. Pretty sure I have rated enough games GameSpot hasn't reviewed to qualify; I think it disappeared some weeks ago. Many thanks for any assistance.

The first few days of voting none of my votes would register on the site so it was like I was voting new every time I logged in. same here, i voted and double checked multiple times to make sure i did it too, and i still don't have it for some reason.

I'm also missing my Outlier emblem, I noticed it disappered for other users that had it as well

Hmm. I'm almost certain that the emblem should be given to you immediately then, as soon as the bracket winner details appear on your facebook wall. Are you allowing wall posts on the facebook side from GameSpot, or have any other Facebook privacy settings that could be interfering with it? Have you connected your GS account to Facebook before?

a popup asked if I wanted to publish the greatest villian thing to my facebook, and I allowed it. Quite a couple of times already.woonsa

I have just tried it on a alt account and I had no problem with it. You might need to tell us step by step what you are exactly doing.

I just gave this greatest villain thing a shot and needless to say, If you check my profile... I didn't get the one for facebook, I've done it multiple times with my security settings set to everyone and it's just not doing it for me, so i'll wait around to see if anything changes.Cloud-Zehro
