Ok, it may be my own fault, cause I haven't been here for a good while, but this is "Le crap deluxe". My account lvl was 9 or 11, all of my games that I own were added aso, aso.. But now Im back to lvl 0 or 1 if u wish and my account is totally empty... I cant even comment on games and such... Everything is gone! What happened?

I have no idea. It looks like you have a 4 year old account that you used today for the first time. A lot of GameFAQs accounts look like that when viewed from GameSpot, and I think the same is true of other crossovers, like from tv.com. It sounds like you are sure you were actually here at GS though... I don't know if GS keeps any kind of historical data for things like this, but they might. Someone with access to all of that would have to do the digging to figure it out. I would mainly be curious to know whether or not the account was actually reset, and what would initiate that action. Aside from that, you can always just start leveling up again, and regain access to the level-dependent features of the site. You can check the leveling FAQs in How To GameSpot to get an idea of what will be involved. It's not that bad really - the first few levels go by pretty quick now.

I`m 110% sure that it was a GS account. Well well... Maybe they dont like lads from Norway then ;) The updated account was the only thing that kept me active here (when I was active :P ) Disappointing, but what can one do... Guess this will be just one of those random "come and go" sites for me now.. Thanks for the reply tho

When was the last time your account was showing the higher level and showing your game collection properly?

Sorry for the late reply, was on vacation... That`s a good question, I would say about 4 months or more. Does an account "restart" or something if its not in use for a good while? If that`s the case, then its my fault...

I have not heard of any policies like that, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. After a quick look around I found apparently intact accounts that have not been online in over 2 years. Further back than about March 2007 though, I'm not sure. From time to time we've consistently heard that the policy is that accounts can not be deleted. Perhaps wiping an account clean like this is considered different, but it is very nearly the same thing. It would not surprise me if GameSpot actually goes through some housekeeping exercises from time to time, but they might not advertise the details. Even so, I don't think what has happened here is routine. It just feels more like a glitch.

Accounts do not get wiped back to level 1 after any amount of time...But I've also never heard of this glitch, either.

Well, as I can see, there is no solution to this problem then. Thank you for your time tho. Guess you can add this as a new glich in the system then.
