the page automatically updates for a new video???? this is super-irritating! is it possible to turn this loathsome feature off? (i have especially restricted bandwith, so i hate it extra much whenever i have to push back and the video loads anew..)

Sadly, there is no way that you can turn this off.

I believe that this thread would have worked better in, say, the How to Gamespot board, just because you wanted to know if you could turn it off

It's not possible to turn it off at this moment in time, it has been suggested as an enhancement before, something I agree with.

It's very annoying, there needs to be an option to turn it off. Who is this feature really for? Also it sometimes never has something to do with what you were watching before.

i come to realize it might be a way for gs to make more profit out of non-premium members. as whenever a new video starts, the ad will play first. by forcing the video-player to play a new video whenever the original one is over, they probably can enhance their ad-profit... at the cost of us, the non-premium users :S (i used to be premium for a year, just so you know :))

That seems viable... so good it might be true.
