Wow is it difficult to give some feedback on this site.. have to go all the way to forums, no contact or feedback button??
I want to report a bug, where you click on follow a game and then it does not show up in your feed and when you go back to the game page, it again shows the follow button, this is freaking annoying and if it does not get fixed i will have to go to another game site

Try again. This works too. You NEED to go to a game space and then select which system you want to follow. I followed Max Payne 3 no problem.

Can't replicate this myself so to start with let's get you to check a few things to try to pinpoint the issue - 1: click follow on the page (if it already says following then no need to click on it), then click the + next to it after it changes to following on the game page, is there a "following" option that's greyed out in the pop-up(proceed to step 2 if so)? or a "follow this game" option in blue? If it's still blue then the follow button simply isn't working at all for you for some reason (if this is the case then make sure you mention it in addition to whether or not you get issues during step 2/3), click the follow the game option and it should change to grey, at which point proceed to step 2. 2: There should now be a grey option 'following' in the pop-up: close the pop-up window and force-refresh the game page (ctrl+f5) - now click the + again, this time without clicking follow 1st, is it still the greyed out following option? If not and it's back to the blue option then there may be a cache issue with the system. Otherwise proceed to step 3. 3: If it is still greyed out then finally check this page and make sure that the game appears on that page. If it does then the tracking/following itself appears to be working fine, and the issue may be with the feed (or perhaps there's just no news for the game since you started following it?); If it's not on that page then the issue may be related to the tracked game list itself, possibly both methods of following a game may have issues actually adding the game to the list for you.

I'm not defending barto89 or anything, I just want to underline the possibility, for him or other users facing similar problems, that they're not doing anything wrong; it could be a system hiccup and those not experienced with GS may get frustrated too quickly. Back in my early days (lol) I was facing the same issue. Nothing was being added to my lists no matter how I tried. And I was ready to post here when suddenly my repeated tries came fruitful. From then, and after a lengthy effort to complete my collection on GS, I have observed that there are a couple of hours in the day (in my GMT+2 timeline it's around 8-10am) when such functions stop working, and I have learnt to wait patiently for these hours to pass. So I'm assuming that it's just 'maintenance hours' for the GS database, or simply a malfunction with ajax routines. Either way, I now know how to be patient with the dynamic website era, which is still at its early developing stages, and that's the only advice I can give to all the users that are facing issues. Give it at least a few hours time before deciding on reporting a bug, just to make sure the claim is valid.
