Hello!

I've been here on GameSpot for quite a while now, and I generally approve the concept and the design of the site (I'd give it a 8.5/10). I have an idea whizzing around in my head for a few days, that I feel would improve my GameSpot experience. It's nothing radical, but rather helpful.

I, and I believe many others, track a lot of games that are yet to be released. Occasionally I'm sorting through all of those games to see which should come out next. Here's where my idea comes in:

- It would be excellent if GS included a, let's name it "Games Countdown" box, which would sport a next game on user's list that should be released (with a cover preview), and a drop menu (or something similar) that lists next games from tracked games list (I believe forming this with "wish list" games would be less appropriate) in chronological order. This, I believe could be incorporated in the "user profile" box in the top-right corner of the page.

I hope it's an idea that will take root, and be implemented in the GS website.

Cheers!

Oh, and while I'm at it- Any remote chance of getting an "edit" button for forum posts? :(

It's a shame too since it's a solid enhancement idea. PS - Have you figured out how to edit posts in the time this thread began? :P

Bumping old threads is seen as disruptive posting so in future, try not to do so. Anyway, it's a good idea and is one that I support.

Thanks for the heads-up. I could argue against it, but there's no point since rules will be rules and someone is bound to dislike one or another rule. Cheers!

You've got a good idea there. Can't believe this doesn't already exist.
