It is becoming more and more difficult to continue using Gamespot, the ads have become more and more intrusive. And the articles are becoming more and more non-game related. I like the videos here and I will always come back for those, but the day to day news, might start going to PC Gamer for that.

I'm having more trouble with ads on cell phone taking over my cell browser making it nearly impossible to close offending spam page ads auto direct me to because the moment I launch the browser it redirects me to the Google Play store. They tried saying it's Google's fault, not theirs. Well, it only happens to me on Gamespot, so I call bullshit.

latest offending ad comes courtesy of xtxgth.com

@lamprey263: This is still happening for you? We ditched an entire ad network because of your last report. This really isn't our fault, we don't run the ads; that's completely outsourced to Double-Click (Google). When we get reports of bad ads or see them ourselves we jump on that and get the offending ad removed and sometimes block the entire ad network it comes from. I know these ads suck. Trust me. I'm going to work to get the xtxgth.com ad pulled right now.
