how do I follow up on a comment?

Perdiodically, I post a question and someoen responds. I get a notification through email that someone has responded, and a link is provided to "go to comment". My problem is that the link just takes me to the webpage that contains the article on which I commented, and does not take me to my comment. I can search for a long time and never find it. Is there a way to jump directly to my comments without having to manually search for them?

I believe you could try using that small window that pops-up telling you how many new comments there are.
