Recently, I've been getting quite a lot of HTML errors when trying to post new blog entries and these are VERY ANNOYING. Yes, I know the solutions to some of them (others are irreparable) but it takes a lot of poking around with the HTML code and it is easy to make a small mistake and mess something up. So I wish to ask a question to the GameSpot staff/editors/mods, and I understand that this is the place to do so, will these HTML errors ever be fixed? Also, if it is possible - then when can we expect to see those problems disappear? Hereisa short note to the GS mods:if there already is a thread about the exact same thing (however, by this I don't mean topics that ask for solutions on these errors because I clearly stated that I know some) then forgive me, but I don't have time to look through all of the topics on here.

Thank you for reading this and have a nice day!

Actually, this really isn't the right forum to campaign for changes; Site Enhancements & Feedback would probably be the better fit. That said, I haven't had much problem with the content filters, but I know that some users don't fare as well. The thing that some users may not understand, however, is that user-submitted content will always be subject to technical filters to make sure that it won't break the formatting of the page or launch exploits in other users' browsers. If any html is allowed at all, it's going to have to be valid and not disrupt anything. The only alternative is to restrict user submitted content to plain text, with no html, bbcode, or other markup of any kind. There is no "magic wand" that anyone can wave to change those realities.
