I'm experiencing numerous forum technical issues

omg, today is crazy! I've never once had a technical problem with this site, but today I'm getting all kinds!

1) When I open a forum, the first topic I click to open is fine. However, when I return to the main forum, every subsequent topic I attempt to open will ONLY open that first topic - so, for example, if I click 3 different topics and say "open in window" or "open in new tab" or "open in new window" all 3 topics will be the SAME topic - and that is whichever one was the first I looked at when I first arrived on said forum. It doesn't even matter if I shut down my browser or refresh the page or restart my computer. It will STILL open only the first topic I looked at today! This doesn't happen absolutely every time, but more like 8 times out of 10. And not just in one forum, but in every forum I've visited, including this one.

2) Clicking to different pages within a forum is totally wonky - I click 2 and it opens 7, I click 6 and it opens 2, I click 1 and it stays on 2, I click 4 and it goes to 1. I'm at a complete loss as to how that is even possible. And it's not like it's just on fast-moving forums either, but even those which have slowed down considerably, such as the Batman: Arkham City forum.

3) When I do a quote reply, it will not quote that response I want to quote, but any random response, or just the same response over and over (similar to problem 1, but with regards to replys).

Now, I DO have NoScript enabled (on firefox), however I've had NoScripts for years now, and when I checked my allowances for Gamespot, they're the same as they've ever been, and there is nothing new to be allowed - and I gave gamespot.com a permanant allowance ages ago. Also, when I view this site in Chrome, the same problems occur and I don't have anything like NoScript on that browser. Ditto with explorer.

Same thing happens to me when I try to open a topic. I can only open the first topic I click even though I clicked a different one... pretty annoying.

same, this is pretty annoying for the past few days. First, we had the 404 error as well as getting random threads instead of the one we choose, not we get the first topic we choose, over and over. Im just gonna leave till this gets fixed, only to come back to test once a day to see if the issues are resolved.

same here, had this problem on wednesday all day, thursday everything was fine , and today it's all screwed up again.

have beena loyal forum user for a couple of years now, accessing the site multiple times a day.These problems make the gamespot forums completely unuseable. please fix, I don't want to switch to another gamesite.

Same here. All of the above. These forums are more glitched than Skyrim.

I've been having similar problems. I can't get past page 2 on the forums, and everytime I click on a topic I get brought to a different one. It's maddening.

Do Gamespot not usually reply to members just to explain if they know what's happening?

I think I've found a work around. If you just copy the link of the topic you want to view then open a new tab in your browser and paste it in the URL bar, then the proper topic comes up. At least for me.

Same thing...it's bloody annoying. And in some topics I get send to page 2 instead of page 1 and even if I try getting to page 2 I can't because it keeps sending me to page 2.

Any official word on this? Either the forum bugged out or some troll hacker has screwed with some stuff cause this is insane.
