If you are meaning the forum poll limit, a board like Off-Topic has way too many topics happening at the same time. We limit creation of polls for a reason; to allow everyone a chance to create one without overwhelming the forums with polls.

As for the amount of choices, this is how many polls work. If you have too many selections there is less focus on the actual question and your results will become more sporadic.
