No Emblems for recent live events?

I've been online for quite a few live events lately, the 3DS/Nintendo event and Sony's new handheld thing, but no badges showed up on my page. Are there no badges for those events or did I just not join into the live feed in time to get the badge? Both times I caught the end of the event, not the beginning.

They usually announce if there will be an emblem/achievement for a live feed event. If they didn't say that there were going to be any, chances are there weren't any. This is not always the case but the majority of the time it is true. Jody usually mentions something prior to the event happening.
