Well to make a long story short, i do not have xbox live nor am I interested in it.
But i am proud of my achievements and my score and i too would like to display them.
Would it be possible to edit your gaming tag directly from your profile without the use of a live account?
I understand that this allows for the possibility of people being untruthful in their tags, but does it really matter?
In the welcome newbies board you said it yourself it serves no real purpose so we should just have fun with it.
What you have happening now is fine but it should be added to.
The name is in your about section of your profile but there could be a whole other tab in the profile where you can control your gamertag stats. Number of games played, A List of games played (with an option to request additional titles not listed perhaps?), current score, and a checklist of achievements for each game. Then the most recent ones would show up in your gamertag. You could use the standard images that come with the system or upload your own. If you want people to be aware of the possibility that this may not be an accurate portrayal of the gamer, then the 'zone' could be 'offline' or 'unwired' or something. So when people see the tag and it says 9999999 points but the the zone is one that is not related to a live account, then you know they could be lying. If you dont want to go as far as i have described then at least make it possible to update the score, GT image and four most recent achievements. Please?
btw, I'm a web developer myself, so i apologize if you feel like i am telling you how to do your job, cuz I'm not.
Thanks,
