I would like to have a comment system put in place for player reviews. When I write a review, users can vote it up or down, but as a writer I am not given a reason why they voted that way. While this will lend to some fanboyism, I think it might also help the reviews improve in quality.
I not only think there should be the option, but it should be mandatory that they explain why they voted an up or down, that way users can't just go through and mark thumbs down to people they don't like without giving a valid reason why they don't like that specific review
Yep, I believe this is one of the highest priority improvements for the site. It will help player reviews become more popular and will assist the authors in their writing skills. It could work the same as user videos, where it isn't mandatory to recommend but a comment can be added.
