Please consider this

Can Gamespot implement a "thumbs up/thumbs down" system like Youtube does. In the forums, I'm tired of seeing the same tired posts like "The cake is a lie" or "I'm not your friend, guy" or something stupid. Plus it could cut down on spam, instead of giving a reply like "OMG! I agree 100%!" you could just give a thumbs up, or instead of saying "WOW, that was the dumbest thing ever" give them a thumbs down.

I want people to know that other users agreed/disagreed with them WITHOUT getting offtopic

This has been discussed here. I still would say it's a bad idea for forum posts to have ratings inside.

I don't really think this would help. You can just report those people, and I never pay attention to those things anyways.

So how would you go about reporting a post saying "Its over 9000!!!!" Mailer? Its an annoying post but can be be moded faily?fastesttruck

If "Its over 9000!!!!" is somebody posting saying how many posts that thread has, you can report it as Disruptive Posting because its adding nothing to the discussion.
