Religion sticky topic in OT...?

Well, I, and many people, are getting sick of the various religion threads that are just repeats of "Are you a Christian/Muslim? Why/why not?" type threads popping up over and over in OT.

So, why not just create a sticky for that kind of discussion?

I agree because they all boil down to the same posters and the same content every single time, no matter who starts them or what the intent of the discussion is. I think this is one of those things that will likely not change.

No I disagree. The thread would get chaotic as all religious discussions will be carried out there. Most people wont be able to follow cause the pace will be fast and the digging up of "what post I wanted to comment on" would be ...well, an unrealistic task.

It will be messy and chaotic. That's my opinion.
