With the newer browsers these days all supporting tabs andjavascript Gamespot rally needs to end their popup windows for good.
Some examples are when clicking a picture. You get a popup with the picture, it takes forever to load, it's size is not of my specifications and it's not very user friendly. A better system would either be a javascript which use some sort of graybox solution to view a bigger size of the image with the possibility to proceed to a photogallery in the same window by using a tab and only a new window if the user either specified it in their profile or if their browser doesn't have tab support.
Whats even worse is the video view pages on GS where several browserfunctions are hidden or disabled and the page is resized. I don't want you to resize my browser, if I want it smaller I will make it smaller. And that video site also need to load in tabs, and if that for some reason can't be done at least use he size settings I allready have and don't disable my browser features, what good does that serve anyway?
