This value is not a valid captcha

I can post a new comment in an article discussion, but I cannot reply to existing comments. I get "This value is not a valid captcha" every time, but I don't see anywhere I can enter a captcha. There is no checkbox under the reply, but there is one for the new comment.

I've tried this on Chrome and Firefox, and tried resetting the page.

This is happening to me also. It's been occurring now for a few weeks.

@wemmick: Same here, can't reply to any comments, and there is no captcha for replies, only the one at the top, for new comments. :|

(Really, there's way too many captchas. Another captcha, just for editing my post?.. Also, all videos are lagging majorly, for no ((apparent)) reason. Audio is okay, it seems, but the video skips. Not a hardware issue, either..)

Lately i cant reply to comments either because of this problem, using Firefox if that matters in any way. Im guessing you guys are still searching for the problem, just wanted to input that its not solved yet :/

Started working! I happened after I posted in the forums and got a valid Captcha for commenting - now it doesn't asks, and it's all good!

It's not working. I had this problem while creating an account (which you guys insist I do). How difficult is it to make users create an account without giving strange errors? I've never encountered this problem ever before in my life. Fix your website please.

Well, this is a little worrying...you guys reported this so long ago and it just happened to me...on an Android phone over its default Chrome Browser...

It happened while I was posting a comment for a game which was reviewed a while back, don't know if that makes a difference as those older games don't even show the total of entered comments, unlike newer games.

Just an update, I was able to submit said comment on the game I mentioned when on a desktop browser...but on Android Chrome the recaptcha box did not appear and thus I received the reported error...

New here and I hope this does not happen to me. I am currently using vivaldi browser. I was unable to register using chrome or IE. wtf :(

Same issue. I can see a captcha for new posts, but there is not one for replies, and Gamespot will not allow me to reply without this non-existent captcha.
